It's a neat addition. Has a different impact depending on play styles at the table as well as number of players. Gives an option to buy Adventure cards without directly progressing towards the end of the game. But with suggested rules, takes up an elemental realm slot during game setup, which actually encourages dungeon usage more/earlier due to fewer regions within which to dwell.
Not an must have, but still a fun alternate way to play.

I feel like I really should've gotten this thru Kickstarter. But I wanted as complete a game as possible, so there you go.
bought the core box and loved it. i searched for months for this hex for months. so thanks for bringing it back. just another part of a favorite game of mine.
