Me and my wife love the complexity of this game and it is a ton of fun to play.

This one is a hidden gem.

Full disclosure -- I was a playtester for the game

This game was a great idea from the very first playtest. The play is fast and great for kids and adults. It certainly helps kids to learn spelling and new vocabulary words!

It's like painless learning for the children...and I love it when they would pull out a big word for a ton of points.

Super replayability as well.

So, you wanna build a word, eh? Better put your letter factories to work, kid: the longer the word, the more money you make. Ah, I see you have a “G” in your word. That’s a really nice letter–in fact, I happen to hold the patent on “G,” so I’m gonna collect some royalties now. Go ahead, let’s see who’s the real Letter Tycoon.

Letter Tycoon is a newer word game that takes the timeless mechanisms of these games, and updates them with meaningful decisions and different paths to victory making it approachable and family friendly.
