Don’t Go Alone - The First PDQ Expansion!
Pocket Dungeon Quest is the debut tabletop game created by Jeff Dehut, successfully funded on Kickstarter in the Fall of 2014, and shown at GenCon 2015!
PDQ is like a video game for your tabletop, inspired by classic PC games such as Rogue and Sword of Fargoal. It's a cooperative, casual, dungeon crawler for all ages, designed to be easy to setup, easy to learn, and quick to play, with each session typically lasting only 15 minutes.
Don’t Go Alone is the first expansion for Pocket Dungeon Quest. This expansion adds new concepts to the core gameplay that gives additional strategic choices to the Heroes. It also introduces campaigns and equipment upgrades that carry over through many sessions of play.
New Gear for the Heroes
Gear is the highlight of the Don’t Go Alone expansion. Gear in PDQ are pieces of equipment that the Hero pulls out of the Treasure Pile as a reward for Leveling Up. There are many different types of Gear which add loads of new skills and abilities to the Heroes as they adventure through the dungeon.
Gear is earned by killing Monsters and Leveling Up or by finding keys on the Dungeon Floor. Hardcore players can randomize which pieces of Gear they equip. Otherwise you get to choose which combination of Gear best fits with your style of play. Mix and match the Gear for interesting effects and abilities, and most of all, HAVE FUN!
Campaigns & Sessions
New to the Don't Go Alone expansion, a Campaign is made up of multiple Sessions. Each Session is a single play in which the Part of Heroes crawls through the dungeon and collects loot and Gear. The Gear that the Heroes earn in a single Session carries over into the next until the Campaign concludes by meeting the winning conditions! This allows the Heroes to ‘Level Up’ and become gradually more powerful and better equipped to handle the dungeon throughout the Campaign.
Three brand new Monsters are included with Don't Go Alone - A Pocket Dungeon Quest Expansion.
